AlamedaSmallDogs donates to Pet-a-Palooza!

We were asked to donate an item for the silent auction that Autobody Fine Art is having today to benefit the Alameda Animal Shelter. It is their 3rd annual fundraiser, Dog Days 3 Pet-a-Palooza.

Look what we came up with...! It's a handmade reversible dog bed. One side is knitted, the other is crocheted. It is really soft and really comfy, and washable too! Drop in to Autobody Fine Art today between 1 pm and 9 pm to bid on this or one of the other wonderful items in the silent auction! The bed was designed and created by Irene Pakel and Carrie Isett.

Alameda Small Dogs supports Bark for Life!

Alameda Small Dogs is joining the Bark for Life festival on Saturday, August 7. We'll be there helping dogs and their owners create their very own commemorative "Paw Print" art. We'll be along side Will Anzenberger's Pet Portrait booth, and Jan & Jim Franz's Small Dog Park Band! Little Spot Runs Dog Walking and Training will be there too, along with a face painting booth and a fun ball toss game. Come on out and help us support the American Cancer Society's Bark for Life fundraiser! It is Saturday, August 7 from 9 - 12. Registration and the festival will take place in the grassy area next to the tennis courts in Lower Washington Park.
